Andrew Moses is the managing partner in our Tigard office. His practice focuses on the representation of insurance carriers in coverage, bad faith, and contribution matters in Oregon and Washington. Andrew also represents insurers in construction defect matters, and he has obtained favorable rulings in state and federal court in coverage actions involving an insurer's duty to defend. Additionally, Andrew has experience in commercial bankruptcy and environmental contamination litigation.
Andrew has participated in trials regarding lost policies and the insurer’s duty to defend. He has also participated in numerous complex negotiations leading to successful resolutions of claims brought against insurers and insureds. Andrew has contributed to numerous articles and blog posts discussing an insurer’s obligations to its insured and strategies for addressing disputes.
Andrew received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in 1991 and his masters in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 1992. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oregon in 1998. From 1998-1999, Andrew held a clerkship at Lane County Circuit Court.
Andrew is admitted to practice in Oregon state courts, U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. When not working, Andrew enjoys spending time with his two sons, playing sports, and exploring the outdoors.
